This Victorian landscape was found among 19th century trade cards recently acquired for arnoldtradecards.com the Earl J. Arnold Advertising Card Collection - 1885. No identification was provided. The artist unfortunately is anonymous, as is the lithographer. The scene is typical of those found on many advertising trade cards of the time, complete with flowers (often out of season) and insets. These would appear to be beach roses.
